Saracens have been through a cultural transformation since 2010-11. As Tindley explains, their focus of treating people exceptionally well – so that people deliver exceptional performances – has seen them win the Premiership Title in 2011 and, in an incredible season in 2014/15, complete an unprecedented sweep of both the Men’s and Women’s Premiership Title, respective Cup Competitions, A Team and Academy Leagues.
“We started a similar turn-around of Global Network Operations (GNO) when we acquired the company in 2011-12. With more than a decade of experience in third party support, including knowledge and skills of legacy switching equipment from vendors such as Nortel (DMS/CSP/C2), Ericsson, Cisco and Telsis, it was an easy decision for us because of the quality of people in the team and our vision of what we could achieve together,” says Tindley.
